Python Data Engineer

Location: Warsaw (Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
Start Date: Within 30 days

We are looking for a Python Data Engineer to join an enterprise-scale project focused on customer data management.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer / Developer in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and software development best practices
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with BigQuery
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Understanding of system integration and data exchange between applications
• Experience with Git and CI/CD processes
• Ability to analyze business and architectural documentation and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, teamwork, and quality-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Golden Record concepts
• Experience with customer data management and data quality initiatives
• Banking or financial services industry experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business and system requirements related to customer record consolidation
• Build and maintain Golden Record business logic
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and testers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Create unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews
• Maintain and enhance cloud-based applications
• Optimize performance, security, and reliability of developed components
• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering standards
