Network Security Engineer

Rate: 130-140 PLN/h + VAT

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to support a strategic cybersecurity project for a global automotive client. The role focuses on assessing network security capabilities, evaluating NDR and alternative security approaches, identifying risks, and providing management-level recommendations. This is a consulting-driven position with a strong emphasis on analysis, advisory services, and technology evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current network security architecture, monitoring capabilities, and security maturity.
• Identify security gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities aligned with industry best practices.
• Evaluate NDR, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, cloud security, and other modern security approaches.
• Analyze vendors and solutions, supporting RFI activities and technology selection processes.
• Develop strategic recommendations, operating models, implementation roadmaps, and PoC preparation.

Expectations

• Proven experience in network security architecture, assessments, and cybersecurity consulting.
• Strong knowledge of NDR, threat detection, network monitoring, and risk analysis.
• Ability to translate business and security requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Experience evaluating security technologies and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise networks, cloud environments, SD-WAN, and modern cybersecurity frameworks.
