DevOps Engineer – Automated Testing Platform (OMP)

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the automated testing framework supporting the OMP platform. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable, and maintainable test automation capabilities that ensure the quality and stability of planning solutions and integrations.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for OMP applications and integrations.
• Develop Python-based automation scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, and solution architects to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor test execution results, analyze failures, and support root-cause analysis.
• Support environment management, deployment automation, and release validation activities.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices related to test automation and DevOps engineering.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming for test automation and tooling development.
• Knowledge of OMP Unison Planning
• Knowledge of API testing and integration testing methodologies.
• Beneficial
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, software development lifecycle, and automation practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and automated test execution.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of data validation and data quality testing concepts.
• Experience with SQL and database testing is beneficial.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple systems and environments.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
