Software Test Engineer (M/K)

For our client we are looking for candidates for the position of Software Test Engineer (M/K).

As a QA Engineer, you will be part of a product team and help ensure the quality of what we build. Your main goal will be to check that new features work correctly and deliver value to users.
You will work with both manual and automated testing, and help identify issues as early as possible. It’s also important to look at the product from an end-to-end perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Create and run test scenarios (e.g. in BDD/Gherkin style)
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize bugs
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Improve regression testing (to make sure existing features still work)
• Prepare clear reports for stakeholders
• Help improve the overall quality strategy
• Take part in quality-related meetings (e.g. bug triage, 3 Amigos)
• Share knowledge and best practices with the team

Tools & technologies:

• Java (core technology for test automation)
• Playwright (main framework for automated testing)
• Cucumber, Xray, Jira
• Groovy, Shell
• Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Bruno
• Familiarity with AI in testing is a plus

Requirements:

• Experience in software testing
• Ability to write test scenarios from a user perspective
• Experience with test automation
• Ability to work on complex projects
• Understanding of DevSecOps/ CI/CD
• Experience working in Agile
