Senior Functional Consultant (JD Edwards) – M/K

For our client, who is building a new Shared Service Center supporting JD Edwards across multiple European entities, we are looking for Senior Functional Consultant (JD Edwards).

As part of this initiative, we are looking for Senior Functional Consultants specializing in one of three areas: Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
You will join an international environment and play a key role in supporting and evolving a global JD Edwards core model.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide functional (2nd line) support for JD Edwards modules
• Act as a subject matter expert within your functional domain
• Analyse business requirements and configure or propose system enhancements
• Ensure alignment with the global core model and local requirements
• Collaborate closely with:
  • Key business users
  • Other JD Edwards functional consultants
  • External system integrator
  • Project and rollout teams
• Prepare, execute, and validate functional tests
• Create and maintain functional documentation (specifications, user guides, test scenarios)

Areas of specialization:
We are hiring experts in one of the following domains:

Finance

• General Ledger (GL), AP, AR, Fixed Assets
• Financial reporting and closing processes
• Strong understanding of accounting and statutory requirements

Manufacturing

• MRP, Shop Floor Management, Product Data Management
• Manufacturing accounting and production processes
• Strong knowledge of shop-floor operations

Supply Chain

• Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management, Logistics
• Distribution processes and operational supply chain flows

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior JD Edwards Functional Consultant
• Strong expertise in one of the functional areas: Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
• Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into system solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Exposure to JD Edwards technical concepts (e.g., SQL, integrations, batch processing)
• Experience working with core models and international rollouts
• Knowledge of European (especially CEE) regulatory environment
