Data Modeling Architect (Banking)

• Start: ASAP / within 1 month / flexible
• Work Model: Mostly remote, up to 5 days per month in the Warsaw office
• Contract Type: B2B via Experis

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeling Architect to support large-scale data initiatives within the banking sector.

Key Requirements:

• Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
• Experience designing relational data models, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts
• Deep knowledge of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
• Ability to define data modeling standards and assess model quality
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and data quality management
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Governance, MDM, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes, APIs, XML, JSON, batch and real-time integrations
• Ability to map and integrate data across multiple systems
• Good understanding of banking data domains, including accounts, transactions, statements, payments, customer data, and regulatory reporting
• Knowledge of modern data-driven architectures supporting BI, self-service analytics, AI, and Machine Learning
• Understanding of Data as a Product principles

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise data models and architecture
• Define data standards, governance principles, and modeling best practices
• Support data integration and transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
• Design reporting and analytical data layers
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance
• Support the organization's Data Driven Banking strategy
