Snowflake Engineer

Location: Remote (with occasional visits to the client's office in Kraków)

About the Role

We are looking for a Snowflake Engineer to support the development and enhancement of a modern data platform built on the Snowflake ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reusable data platform capabilities that enable efficient data processing, integration, and analytics across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement reusable data platform components using Snowflake and related technologies.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and data transformation processes.
• Develop scalable and high-performance data solutions to support business and analytical requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Optimize data models, workflows, and platform performance.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices.
• Participate in platform improvements, automation initiatives, and continuous optimization activities.
• Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and ongoing maintenance of the data platform.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and its ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of data transformation and orchestration tools such as DBT and/or Matillion.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud-based data platforms and data pipelines.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
