Senior Tresury Analyst

Location: Hybrid work model – 2-3 days per week from the Warsaw office


We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury team on an interim basis, with the possibility of extension. The primary objective of this role is to provide additional support for the analytical and operational aspects of treasury management, ensuring robust cash visibility, liquidity reporting, forecasting, banking support, and treasury controls during a period of increased workload and business activity.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, highly analytical, and capable of working independently with limited supervision while supporting day-to-day treasury activities.


Responsibilities:
Treasury Operations
•    Support payment and funding activities as required.
•    Assist with intercompany funding analysis and related reporting.
•    Monitor bank account activity and help ensure treasury policies and controls are adhered to.
•    Coordinate banking administration activities where necessary.
•    Support the preparation of board, audit, and management reporting packs.

Cash Management & Liquidity
•    Support the preparation and continuous improvement of short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
•    Monitor liquidity levels and support short-term cash management activities.
•    Ensure accurate visibility of group cash balances and available liquidity.
•    Consolidate forecast submissions from business units and finance teams.
•    Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual cash flows.

Process Improvement
•    Document treasury processes and controls to strengthen operational resilience.
•    Review existing treasury processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
•    Improve reporting automation, including the use of AI, to reduce manual effort where possible.
•    Support enhancements to forecasting models and treasury management tools.

Stakeholder Management
•    Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Business Finance teams.
•    Build effective working relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders.
•    Act as a reliable point of contact for treasury-related queries and requests.

Requirements
Experience
•    3-5 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or financial analysis.
•    Strong experience in cash forecasting and liquidity management.
•    Experience working in a multinational or complex corporate environment.
•    Proven ability to analyze large data sets and present meaningful insights.
•    Experience supporting treasury operations and reporting activities.
•    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Technical Skills
•    Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and financial modelling.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
•    Experience with treasury management systems and online banking platforms.
•    Experience with PowerPoint and Power BI is considered advantageous.
