QA Automation Engineer

📍 Location: Kraków / Katowice / Wrocław / Warsaw / Gdańsk / Gdynia
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid (40% office presence per month)

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for innovative financial systems. In this role, you will work closely with Development and DevOps teams to ensure high software quality through test automation, continuous testing practices, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks aligned with project architecture.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Perform API testing and backend validation.
• Develop and execute automated regression test suites to ensure system stability.
• Validate data and manage test data across complex environments.
• Investigate defects and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and improve software quality.
• Support test environment setup and configuration in line with DevOps practices.
• Maintain test artifacts, scripts, and documentation in Azure DevOps.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to Agile delivery processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in test automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, REST Assured, or similar).
• Experience in API testing and backend validation.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in complex IT environments.

• Knowledge of DLT/Blockchain-based solutions.
• Experience with performance and resilience testing.
• Experience in the financial or banking sector.
