Android Developer (Senior/Lead)

Location: 100% remote work 
Salary: 160 – 180 PLN net/h (B2B via Experis)


We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Mobile Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development practices. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of professional experience, is highly autonomous, and can act as a technical lead for Android-related topics, supporting architectural decisions and mentoring less experienced developers.


Responsibilities:
•    Develop and enhance Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
•    Build Store Capture and Transition Steering mobile solutions.
•    Integrate and maintain the Scandit scanning library.
•    Implement modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
•    Design and maintain robust state management and offline capabilities.
•    Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with Kafka-based backend services.
•    Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
•    Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, application performance, and release processes.
•    Act as a technical leader for Android topics, driving technical decisions and supporting team members.
•    Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Backend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile Scrum environment.


Requirements: 
•    8+ years of experience in Android development.
•    Strong expertise in Kotlin.
•    Extensive experience with Jetpack Compose.
•    Solid understanding of Coroutines, Flows, and asynchronous programming.
•    Experience with Retrofit and/or Ktor.
•    Strong knowledge of REST API integration and API-first architectures.
•    Experience with unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso, Compose UI Testing).
•    Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
•    Understanding of event-driven architectures and integration patterns (REST, Kafka).
•    Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.
•    Experience in a Tech Lead / Lead Developer capacity, including architectural guidance and technical mentoring.
•    Ability to work effectively in distributed international teams (English: B2/C1 minimum)

Nice to Have:
•    Experience in modern web frontend development.
•    Strong knowledge of Vue.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
•    UX/UI design experience.
•    Experience developing responsive web applications.
