Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in AWS.
Build and enhance APIs and microservices using Node.js and/or Python.
Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
Ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud and application layers.
Contribute to IoT platform development and connected device integrations.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.
Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, monitoring, and best practices.
Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Must-Have Requirements:
5+ years of backend engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, and EKS.
Solid development experience with Node.js and/or Python.
Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Understanding of system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Nice to Have:
Experience with IoT platforms, AWS IoT Core, MQTT, or connected device ecosystems.
Knowledge of serverless architectures.
Experience supporting production cloud environments.
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
