SW Platform Engineer (M/K)

For our client we are looking for a candidate for the position of SW Platform Engineer.

The SW Platform team builds and maintains cloud-native infrastructure platform, automating and scaling HPC and AI workloads across AWS environments. This team develops internal platform tools and services (including CLI tools, CI/CD automation, Platform development, Kubernetes operators, and observability systems) that enable engineering teams to deploy, manage, and monitor complex distributed systems efficiently. Our client's team owns the entire infrastructure lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, or Rust
• Experience in designing and developing scalable, cloud solutions to accelerate HPC and AI workloads using advanced technologies
• 3+ years of hands-on experience
• Strong background in Linux environments
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiar with Ansible and Kubernetes – must
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions), and observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Knowledge of microservices, and event-driven architectures (nice-to-have)
• Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for cloud-native and containerized environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security

Ways To Stand Out from The Crowd:

• Experience building K8s operators/controllers
• Background in HPC or AI infrastructure technologies

Additional Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent program
• Experience designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining complex distributed systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and geographies
• Self-starter with adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
