QA Engineer (Manual & Automated) – K/M

For our client we are looking for a candidate for the position of QA Engineer. In this position you will join an international Product Team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and resilience of our products. Working within a cross-functional squad, you will combine manual testing, test automation, and quality advocacy to support the delivery of high-quality software.

Your responsibilities:

• Create and execute manual test scenarios using Gherkin (BDD approach)
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scenarios with an end-user perspective
• Analyze requirements and validate new functionalities
• Identify, investigate, prioritize, and track defects across test and production environments
• Implement and continuously improve regression test suites
• Contribute to automation initiatives and testing best practices
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Provide clear and actionable quality reports to stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to testing and software quality
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other QA professionals

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
• Hands-on experience with test automation in the Java + Cucumber ecosystem
• Experience writing product-oriented test scenarios
• Strong understanding of software quality assurance processes
• Experience with selected technologies such as Java, Groovy, Shell, Playwright, Cucumber, Xray, Bruno, Jira, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Agentic AI
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps-oriented quality practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within complex projects and cross-functional teams
• ISTQB, TMAP, Agile, or similar certification are nice-to-have
