Senior Java Developer – Insurance Consulting

As a Senior Java Developer in our Insurance Consulting team, you will take part in implementation projects for insurance platforms, working closely with Agile team members to achieve both project and client goals. Your contribution will support the transformation of the insurance sector. We are looking for a passionate developer ready to bring fresh ideas and help move our projects forward.
You will work with a modern technology stack and have the opportunity to implement innovative solutions in an international environment, collaborating with industry leaders and using cutting-edge data and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Senior Java Developer in various implementation streams within insurance projects
• Collaborate with Agile team members to meet project and business objectives
• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical designs
• Develop, test, debug, and document software applications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services
• Solid understanding of SQL and at least one database engine
• Excellent command of Git
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience working on international projects
• Kafka – required

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ
• Experience with Camunda Platform
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Relevant certifications (Java, Spring, SQL, AWS/Azure)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
