Tasks:
- Responsible for working with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to model current and new data.
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
- You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Common Visualization Object Modeler is recommended.
- Furthermore, advanced proficiency in Data & AI Processes, Data Quality Tools & Methods, Data Taxonomy, and Data & AI Strategy is suggested.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data models that align with business requirements
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather data requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Implement best practices for data modeling and ensure adherence to data governance standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data modeling processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and quality throughout the data lifecycle."
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Modeler or similar role
- Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Experience in AI
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
