Senior Software Engineer (Technical Documentation & NDS.Live)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong technical writing skills to help document complex map data systems and NDS.Live implementations. This is not a pure Technical Writer role. We need someone who can understand software architecture, data models, APIs, schemas, data flows, and technical design decisions, and translate them into clear, structured documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and architects to document NDS.Live implementations, data models, APIs, publishing pipelines, and system semantics.
• Gather knowledge from subject-matter experts across the organization.
• Create and maintain accurate, scalable technical documentation.
• Identify gaps and inconsistencies in existing documentation and specifications.
• Build documentation optimized for both engineers and AI/LLM-based knowledge systems.

Requirements

• Senior-level Software Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, data models, and complex systems.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze technical specifications, design documents, and implementation details.
• Strong stakeholder management and knowledge-gathering skills.
• Fluent written English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with NDS.Live, digital maps, navigation, geospatial, or automotive solutions.
• Docs-as-Code experience (Git, Markdown).
• Experience creating documentation for AI/LLM, Copilot, or RAG-based solutions.
