Platform Engineer (Azure & Databricks)

Location: 100% Remote
Contract Type: B2B
Rate: 150-160 PLN/h + VAT
Start Date: Within 1 Month / Flexible

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to support the delivery and operation of a cloud-based data platform built on Azure and Databricks. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, platform security, CI/CD, and Databricks administration, working closely with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Security teams.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Azure and Databricks infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop automation scripts and reusable Infrastructure as Code components.
• Administer Databricks environments, Unity Catalog, permissions, and governance.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot platform, networking, identity, storage, and security issues.

Expectations

• min. 4 + years of experience in Azure, Cloud, Platform, or DevOps Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Terraform, Bash, and Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, and ADLS Gen2.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, platform security, automation, and governance.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
