About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join an international data team. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data solutions, building ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting cloud-based analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL.
• Perform data integration, transformation, migration, and cleansing.
• Create and maintain SQL Server tables, views, and database objects.
• Optimize data workflows, performance, and automation processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data modelers, and agile teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in solution design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, ADLS, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with Power BI, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Required Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer

Nice to have:

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Leasing, or Captive Finance environments.
