Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the delivery of an Azure ARM64 Standard Image Platform MVP. You will be responsible for building and governing a centralized Azure image platform that accelerates ARM64 adoption, improves security, and standardizes cloud platform operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of the Azure ARM64 image platform
• Define image strategy, lifecycle management, and governance
• Design Azure image publishing and distribution processes
• Establish security baselines, compliance, and vulnerability management integrations
• Define testing, release, and rollback standards
• Validate ARM64 compatibility for operating systems and workloads
• Support adoption across product teams
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform, Security, and FinOps stakeholders
• Establish platform adoption, compliance, and operational metrics

Requirements

• 8+ years of Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Platform Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise
• Knowledge of ARM64 and x86_64 architectures
• Experience with VM and base image lifecycle management
• Azure Compute Gallery experience
• Azure Policy and cloud governance expertise
• Strong Linux platform engineering skills (Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, or similar)
• Security baseline and infrastructure compliance experience
• Logging and observability experience
