IT Architecture Lead / Technical Architect (Banking)

• Start: ASAP / within 1 month / flexible
• Work Model: Mostly remote, up to 8 days per month in the Warsaw office
• Contract Type: B2B via Experis

We are looking for an experienced IT Architecture Lead / Technical Architect to join a large-scale transformation program in the banking sector.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Proven track record leading large-scale projects (100+ people) in the financial sector, preferably banking
• Strong expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud migrations
• Hands-on experience with code reviews, refactoring, and technical leadership
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Java, and C#
• Experience with Apache Kafka, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD
• Practical knowledge of GCP services (GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage), Kubernetes, Argo CD, HashiCorp Vault, Azure OpenAI, Ora2Pg, and SQLpipe
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication, analytical, and mentoring skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and govern enterprise architecture solutions
• Lead technical decision-making and architectural standards
• Oversee solution design, implementation, and cloud migration initiatives
• Mentor Tech Leads, Architects, and development teams
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and architects
• Assess architectural impact of business and technology changes
