Technical Product Owner

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to manage a portfolio of interconnected enterprise applications and integrations. Acting as the link between business stakeholders and technology teams, you will translate business needs into product priorities, clear requirements, and actionable delivery plans.

You will drive product roadmaps, manage backlogs across multiple teams, coordinate releases, and ensure that technology solutions remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs across multiple enterprise applications and integrations.

• Translate business requirements into prioritized features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Prioritize new functionality, technical improvements, operational needs, security, and technical debt.

• Facilitate backlog refinement, Agile planning, and collaboration across business and technical teams.

• Coordinate cross-application dependencies, release planning, deployment readiness, and change management activities.

• Work with architects and engineering teams to understand system integrations, technical dependencies, and solution alternatives.

• Communicate product priorities, delivery progress, risks, and decisions to business stakeholders and technology leadership.

• Identify opportunities to improve application lifecycle management, streamline processes, and leverage automation and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Lead, or in a similar role.

• Experience managing enterprise applications, product backlogs, requirements, and Agile delivery.

• Working knowledge of system integrations, including APIs, web services, middleware, EDI, or data interfaces.

• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams, cross-system dependencies, and software releases.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical teams.

• Ability to understand complex business processes, end-to-end solution architectures, and technical trade-offs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, quality, certification, or other technically complex environments.

• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform.

• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and enterprise application modernization.

• Exposure to AI-enabled productivity tools and workflow automation.

• Relevant product ownership or Agile certifications, such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
