Security Architect

Location: 100% remote work (Poland)
Availability: ASAP / within 1 month
Rate: 190 - 200 PLN/h + VAT 

About the Role:

We are looking for a Security Architect to support the secure design, assessment, and governance of enterprise solutions and technology environments. In this role, you will review solution architectures, identify security risks, recommend appropriate controls, and provide expert guidance to business and technology stakeholders. You will play a key role in security assessments, architecture reviews, and the continuous improvement of security standards and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Review solution concepts, architectures, and supporting documentation to identify applicable security standards, security risks, required controls, and provide security recommendations

• Perform Security Architecture Reviews, Cloud Security Assessments, and Vendor Security Assessments

• Evaluate architecture designs, identity and access management, network segmentation, authentication, encryption, logging, monitoring requirements, and associated security risks

• Assess firewall, proxy, server internet access, and other connectivity-related requests

• Analyze business use cases, communication paths, protocols, security controls, monitoring requirements, and data-processing implications

• Prepare documented recommendations and assessment outcomes for stakeholders

• Provide advisory support on Security Architecture, Standards, and Governance

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security review methodologies, assessment approaches, policies, standards, and documentation practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Security Architecture, Cybersecurity, or Information Security

• Strong understanding of security architecture principles and security risk management

• Experience conducting Security Architecture Reviews, Cloud Security Assessments, and Vendor Security Assessments

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, encryption, logging, and monitoring practices

• Understanding of network security concepts, including segmentation, firewalls, proxies, and connectivity controls

• Ability to assess security risks and provide clear, practical recommendations

• Experience working with security standards, governance frameworks, policies, and documentation

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• German language skills would be an advantage
