SaC Engineer – Standards as Code

Location: 100% Remote
Contract: B2B

We are looking for a SaC Engineer with at least 4 years of professional experience to transform standards and requirements into machine-readable specifications, validation rules, automated tests, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain JSON/YAML specifications and schemas.
• Develop validation rules, linting controls, and conformance tests.
• Build reusable validation libraries and policy-as-code solutions.
• Design repository structures for standards, rules, tests, and evidence.
• Integrate validation checks into CI/CD and operational workflows.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, rules, and test results.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, quality engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with JSON and YAML.
• Hands-on experience with schema validation, test automation, linting, or policy-as-code.
• Good knowledge of Git, version control, and repository management.
• Ability to translate business or technical requirements into executable rules.
• Experience creating positive and negative test scenarios.

Nice to Have

• OpenAPI, API specifications, and data contracts.
• CI/CD, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.
• OPA or similar policy-as-code tools.
• Python, TypeScript, React, or backend development experience.
