IT Analyst - Downstream - Data Warehouse Reporting

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Analyst to join our Downstream Team within a large-scale Core Banking Transformation Program. The program aims to replace legacy local banking systems with a modern Nordic core banking platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into clear features, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Drive the requirements lifecycle from elicitation through documentation to development handover.
• Collaborate closely with business teams, architects, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and support data governance activities.
• Work effectively within a large-scale transformation program with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
• Quickly understand the business domain and onboard into a complex banking environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst and/or Senior IT Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with CDW (Corporate Data Warehouse) and reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance and Data Mapping.
• Experience working in the banking sector, preferably within a large financial institution.
• Experience working in large-scale transformation programs involving 300+ employees.
• Strong SQL skills or experience with similar data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience working within a Nordic bank.
• Knowledge of regulatory or business reporting processes.
• Experience working with Hadoop or related big data technologies.
• Experience in Core Banking transformation initiatives.
