Clinical Site Activation Specialist

Job Overview
We are looking for a Site Activation Specialist to join a global clinical research team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing site activation activities at the country level, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, SOPs, and project timelines. You will act as the primary point of contact for investigative sites and internal stakeholders, playing a key role in the successful start-up of clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned studies at the site level
• Prepare, review, and track regulatory and contractual documents
• Ensure timely site activation in line with project timelines and quality standards
• Maintain internal systems and databases with accurate project-specific information
• Collaborate with Site Activation Managers, Project Managers, and other departments
• Provide local regulatory expertise and support during planning and execution
• Perform quality control of site documents and ensure compliance with GCP/ICH guidelines
• Monitor site performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of clinical research experience, including 1 year in a coordination or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and local regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• Experience with clinical trial systems and document management
• Fluency in English
