Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Act as the key liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring clear understanding of business needs and their technical implementation.
• Analyze, interpret, and structure complex data models, identifying trends and supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Manage and coordinate the work of cross-functional teams with varying levels of seniority and diverse nationalities.
• Lead and contribute to the definition, documentation, and validation of business requirements related to securitization and banking financial products.
• Ensure alignment between IT systems and business objectives, bridging gaps and translating technical language into business context (and vice versa).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve product functionality and operational efficiency.
• Apply agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to manage backlogs, define user stories, and ensure timely delivery through tools like JIRA.
• Support testing phases by contributing to QA planning, test case validation, and defect resolution.
• Foster a collaborative, detail-oriented, and problem-solving team culture.
• Stay up to date with market trends and financial products (e.g., CDS, CLOs, insurance) to bring added value to projects.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• At least 3 years of experience managing, coordinating, and organizing the work of a team with different profiles (senior/junior) and nationalities.
• Analytical thinking and experience in handling and exploiting large data models.
• Solid knowledge of securitization, its lifecycle, and impacts (both synthetic and traditional).
• Knowledge of banking financial products (loans, syndicated loans, RPPs, performance guarantees, lines of credit, etc.).
• High-level IT vision and understanding of how it should reconcile with the business.
• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and use of JIRA.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both IT and business teams.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). (Spanish is preferred, not a show stopper).
